PREAMBLE
Clear skies were experienced across the country with cool morning and warm by the afternoon. Moderate ground frost occurred at Nyanga while Henderson, Matopos and Marondera had a slight ground frost.
FORECAST FOR TOMORROW, SATURDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2022
Sunny and warm afternoon conditions are anticipated countrywide, though cool in the morning and evening with clear skies. Slight ground frost is probable in susceptible areas such as Nyanga, Marondera and Henderson.

FIRE SEASON: Dry and windy conditions exacerbate the spread of veldt fires

ACTIONS TO TAKE
Veld fires are extensive so farmers are expected to construct fire guards that are at least 9 metres wide and free of burning vegetative matter.
