The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has reviewed the prices of diesel and petrol with effect from 16 August 2022.
The price of diesel has remained at US$1.74 per litre while the price of petrol has been reduced to US$1.57 from US$1.60.
Fuel prices in Zimbabwe dollars have, however, been raised, with the price of diesel now ZWL$851.14, up from ZWL$774.15 per litre while the price of petrol is now ZWL$769.35, up from ZWL$710.60.
ZERA said the blending ratio remains at E20. It added that operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations.
