We Can Still Turn Things Around, Says Ndiraya

Dynamos coach Tonderai Ndiraya wants the team to return to winning ways after recent results saw the Glamour Boys fall further behind in the race for the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title.

DeMbare hosts PSL champions FC Platinum at the National Sports Stadium in Harare on Sunday.

After 20 rounds of fixtures, FC Platinum leads the race for the title with 43 points, Chicken Inn is in second place with 38 points and Dynamos is third on the log with 35 points.

Speaking ahead of the clash with Pure Platinum Play, Ndiraya expressed hope that DeMbare can turn things around against the champions. He said:

It’s a big game in the sense that our opponents have been on a roll and we’ve not really been consistent, in terms of getting results.

But, this is another game altogether for us, we didn’t do well in our last match, we are back, we are playing at home, and we would really want to do well.

The question is, would we really want to correct our past mistakes against FC Platinum?

Of course, the answer would be why not, this is an opportunity for us to correct those mistakes and make sure that we take off and consistently move forward as a team.

Fourteen games to go in the season, that’s quite a lot, I still think that we have a big chance of turning things around, and anything can happen.

And, I don’t want to jump to conclusions when the season is still young, of course, it is the consistency we’ve been looking for.
