ZESA Issues Notice of Power Disconnection To Defaulters

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) a subsidiary of the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA), has issued a notice of power disconnection to defaulters. In a statement seen by Pindula News, ZETDC urged clients to pay their bills. We present the notice below.

NOTICE OF POWER DISCONNECTION TO DEFAULTERS

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission & Distribution Company (ZETDC ) would like to advise its sallied customers in Harare Region that the region is currently implementing credit control measures for defaulting customers. Customers are therefore milked to settle their bills to as avoid being disconnected. Customers can make use of the following platforms to pay their bills:-

I. Visit their nearest ZETDC banking hall

2. Log on to our self-service portal https://selfservice.co.zw/ and pay using Ecocash.

3. Payment to your district’s bank account: Account numbers are listed below:-

When making bank payments customers are advised to quote their account number and name and once payment has been made, proof of payment should be emailed to pop@zetdc.co.zw for the account to be updated.

Last year, ZESA claimed that it was owed about $15 billion.
