Harare Announces Temporary Shutdown Of Morton Jaffray-Warren Control Line

The Harare City Council has announced a temporary shutdown of the old 1300mm Morton Jaffray-Warren Control line along Bulawayo Road tomorrow at 4 PM until Friday.

In a public notice, the City of Harare’s Acting Town Clerk said the planned shutdown of the pipeline will affect parts of the city including low water pressure in the central business district (CBD). Reads the notice:

SHUTDOWN OF THE OLD 1300MM MORTON JAFFRAY-WARREN CONTROL LINE ALONG BULAWAYO ROAD AT MORTON JAFFRAY TURNOFF

We hereby advise you of a planned shutdown of the old 1300mm Morton Jaffray-Warren Control line along Bulawayo Road on Tuesday 14 June 2022 at 1600hrs. Our crew will work on the line until Friday the 17th of June 2022.

The above pipework is going to affect Inkomo Barracks, and Kuwadzana extension and there will be low pressure in the CBD.
