ZANU PF Needs To Be Rebranded, Says Mliswa

Norton MP, Temba Mliswa (Independent), says ZANU PF needs to rebuild its image as the opposition CCC is doing but cannot do so with Christopher Mutsvangwa as the spokesperson of the ruling party.

Mliswa, a former ZANU PF Mashonaland West chairperson, says Mutsvangwa, as a failed Presidential Advisor, MP and war veterans leader, does not have what it takes to rebrand the ruling party. Mliswa tweeted:

ZANU PF as a brand needs to be rebuilt. In its current state its damaged goods. However, the rebuilding needs sober heads and minds that are focused on the essentials of what created and grew the party to be what it once was.

That process cannot be discharged and the narrative preached by individuals who have failed to find their feet politically and have had to survive on the benevolence of other politicians. Not just that but have even failed in the doled positions!

An individual who has failed as an MP, failed as Presidential Advisor and failed as a War Veterans leader cannot suddenly be expected to lead the articulation of a party’s position. He will botch that too!

It was better to have left [Tafadzwa] Mugwadi as party spokesperson than Mutsvangwa. CCC has seen the light of today’s politics and the allure of youths and gone with [Fadzayi] Mahere and [Gift Siziba] “Ostallos”. Why is ZANU resorting to historical debris?
