Nyadire Teachers’ College has asked students to pay top-up fees, saying this is meant to maintain the quality of education being offered by the institution amid rising inflation and bills.
The college has requested the student teachers to pay US$100 and set 30 June 2022 as the deadline for the payment of the top-up fees.
A memo addressed to all Nyadire Teachers’ College students by Nyadire Mission Station Chairperson Reverend L Mukundu dated 8 June 2022 reads:
Following a lengthy discussion with students, on the 7th of June 2022, this note serves to inform you that the fees top-up for second term 2022 has been pegged at USD100.
This is in view of rising inflation and bills so that we maintain the quality of education offered. All fees should be paid on or before 30 June 2022.
