Police Yet To Identify Man Murdered In Chitungwiza On 18 March

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is appealing for information that may lead to the identification of a murder victim whose body was found near Zengeza 2 High School in Chitungwiza on 18 March this year.

ZRP national spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the deceased was struck with a brick by unknown assailants and later succumbed to his injuries at Chitungwiza General Hospital. Said Nyathi:

The Zimbabwe Republic Police is appealing for information that may lead to the identification of a murder victim aged between 30 and 40 years who was found along Dhumukwa Street near Zengeza 2 High School in Chitungwiza on 18th March 2022.

The victim was struck with a brick by unknown assailants and was assisted by well-wishers to Chitungwiza General Hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.
