ZERA Increases Fuel Prices Effective 20 May 2022

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced new fuel prices effective 20 May 2022.

Diesel now costs US$1.74, up from US$1.71 while the price of petrol (Blend – E15) has been increased to US$1.68, up from US$1.64 per litre.

In Zimbabwe dollar terms, diesel now costs ZWL$499.56, up from ZWL$283.87 per litre. Petrol (Blend – E15) now costs ZWL$481.02 up from ZWL$271.85 per litre. ZERA said:

The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio is now at E15. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations.

  1. I thought ED had ordered a reduction for the fuel prices about 2 months ago. And Zera – where is the list of petrol stations selling fuel in Zim Bond? There are none – it’s all fake news and lies and propoganda.
