Zimbabwe Coronavirus / COVID-19 Update: 13 May 2022
Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 13 May 2022 noted an increase in new Coronavirus Cases compared to those recorded on the 12th. Pindula News presents the update:
• 188 New Cases (All local) and 1 Death reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases rises to 131 from 113 (yesterday).
• Vaccination Update: 17 294 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 6 026 S33, 49 994 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 4 142 808 while 11 231 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3 rd dose to 703 640.
As of 12 May 2022, @1500hrs there were (48) hospitalized cases: New Admissions (12), Asymptomatic (1), mild to moderate (37), severe (2) and (8) in Intensive Care Units. 20 of the 48 hospitalized were vaccinated and 28 were not vaccinated.
