Ecocash, Zimbabwe’s largest mobile phone-based money transfer, financing and microfinancing service, has announced that transaction limits were reviewed this week. New limits are as follows:
a). Sending Money:
i). ZW$10 000 per transaction
ii). ZW$70000 per week or per day.
b). Merchant and Bill Payment
i). ZW$50 000 per transaction
ii). ZW$100 000 per week or per day.
The review comes at the backdrop of soaring inflation.
