RBZ Authorises Ndoro Bank Limited To Conduct Deposit-taking Business

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has in terms of Section 13 Microfinance Act [Chapter 24:30], registered and authorised Ndoro Microfinance Bank Limited to conduct deposit-taking microfinance business.

In a statement, seen by Pindula News, the central bank said Ndoro Microfinance Bank Limited was licensed in 2021. Reads the statement issued this Friday:

NDORO MICROFINANCE BANK LIMITED

It is hereby notified that Ndoro Microfinance Bank Limited, which was licensed in 2021 as a deposit-taking microfinance institution, has been authorized to conduct deposit-taking microfinance business in terms of the Microfinance Act [Chapter 24:30], following a successful pre-opening inspection of the institution’s readiness to commence deposit-taking microfinance business. Authorisation to commence the conduct of deposit-taking microfinance business is hereby granted with effect from the date of this Public Notice.
