Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 14 March 2022:
- 394 New Cases (All local) and 2 Deaths were reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases falls to 457 from 472 (yesterday). 59 of the new cases reported today are from outbreaks detected from schools in Mash East (34) and Manicaland (25).
- Vaccination Update: 2 769 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 397 105, 2 323 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 428 435 while 1 780 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 161 408.
- As of 13 March 2022, @1500hrs there were (61) hospitalised cases: New Admissions (9), Asymptomatic (7), mild to moderate (48), severe (6) and (0) in Intensive Care Units.
- 3 280 tests done today (Positivity today was 12.1%)
- 220 new recoveries: National Recovery rate goes to 95% & Active cases go up 5 068
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 242 909 Cases 232 425 recoveries & 5 416 Deaths.
