ZERA Raises Fuel Prices For March 2022, Again

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has revised petroleum prices for March 2022. According to the revised prices, a litre of Diesel now costs US$1.68 or ZWL218.01. In a statement seen by Pindula News, ZERA said the increase was as a result of increasing oil prices on the international market. We present the statement below:

Please be advised that there has been a review of prices for diesel and blend for March 2022 and are as follows:

ZWL Diesel 50 ——  ZWL218.01

Blend – E0 ———— ZWL216.78

Diesel 50 ————– US$1.68

Blend – E0 ———-   (US$1.67

Prices have been set in accordance with the increasing oil prices on the international market, which the Authority is continuously monitoring. The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio remains at E0. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations. 

The energy regulator has increased the price of diesel from ZWL$195.99 and US$1.51 per litre, respectively.
