MDC-T Activist In Court For Tearing Down CCC Campaign Posters
An MDC-T supporter was arrested early this month for allegedly defacing campaign posters for a Citizens For Coalition Change (CCC) National Assembly candidate in Epworth, Earthrage Kureva.
Adam Kazembe (55) appeared before Harare magistrate Yeukai Dzuda on charges of violating the Electoral Act.
Kazembe was remanded out of custody on ZW$5 000 bail.
Allegations are that Kazembe and three other accomplices were seen tearing down the CCC posters near Domboramwari Primary School in Epworth by a CCC activist who then reported the matter to the police on 4 March resulting in Kazembe’s arrest.
