Stray Lions Kill Livestock In Chimanimani

Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) officers are tracking down two stray lions believed to have escaped from Devuli Range.

The lions have killed two beasts and at least five goats in the Gwindingwi area, Ward 16 of Chimanimani District.

Chimanimani District Development Coordinator Joseph Manyurapasi confirmed the developments. He said:

There are two stray lions in the Gwindingwi are in Ward 16 of Chimanimani District.

Zimbabwe National Parks officers have since been deployed and they are hunting down the predators.

From the reports we have, two beasts and at least five goats have been killed so far. There has been no human casualty.
