Yohane Family Demands Justice

The family of the late Charles Yohane has demanded justice after the former Warriors star was shot dead by carjackers in South Africa on Saturday last week.

Peter Pauros, a nephew of Yohane, told H-Metro that as a family, they are waiting to get more information from the South African Police Service (SAPS) who are still investigating the matter. He said:

What we want is justice and the good thing is someone has been arrested and is in custody.

We are told one man has been arrested and will probably appear in court tomorrow (today).

But, we are here to gather information and the police are still investigating.

We are waiting to get more information, the police are still looking into the issue of what really transpired.

Yohane’s body is expected in Zimbabwe next week, with Zororo-Phumulani Funeral Plan in the process of repatriating it. Added Pauros:

He will be buried back home and we managed to get assistance from Zororo-Phumulani, who are handling the repatriation process. We are grateful.

We expect most of the work to be completed by Monday next week, so from there, we will give you more information.
