Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Update 25 January 2022

Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 25 January 2022:

• 235 New Cases (All local) and 11 Deaths were reported today. (7-day rolling average’ for new cases falls to 269 from 297 (yesterday).

• Vaccination Update: 3 513 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 248 300; 4 076 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 277 002 while 2 815 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 45 707.

• As of 24 January 2022, @1500hrs there were 117 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (7), Asymptomatic 5, mild to moderate 92, severe 11 and 9 in Intensive Care Units.

• 3 093 tests done today (Positivity today was 8%)
