"No Expected Restoration Time" - ZESA On Kuwadzana, Hatfield Power Outages

The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority has said it has no expected time for the restoration of power in Hatfield and Kuwadanza, Harare.

In a statement, the power utility said its engineers were seized with the matter. Pindula News presents ZESA’s statement:

PowerOutage: Kuwadzana & Hatfield Customers We apologise that service could not be restored today as expected. Our Engineers are working round the clock to ensure restoration. No Expected Restoration Time at this stage. We will keep you updated.WhatsApp: 0719219977.

The announcement irked some football fans in affected areas who said they cannot watch the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals which kickstarted on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), a subsidiary of ZESA has another power outage in other parts of Harare due to a cable fault. Read the statement:

Areas Affected:

A section of industries along Conald road, Shepperton and Boshoff granitesite industrial area. Our teams are working round the clock to ensure service is restored. The inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.

ZETDC also announced power outages in Southerton: Ardbennie industries and residential, OK Ardbennie and the surrounding areas; Mounthampden: Beta bricks and Charles Prince Airport.
