The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), a subsidiary of the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority has apologised for power outages in some parts of the country including Harare, Norton and Bindura. The power utility said it was working to ensure service was restored in affected areas. Pindula News presents ZETDC’s statement on the outages:
NOTICE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS: HARARE
The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to apologize to its valued customers in Harare for a power outage due to an underground cable fault.
Areas affected:Mt Pleasant Heights, parts of Mt Pleasant, National Defence College, Emerald Hill, Ashbrittle, Nursery road, World Vision, Marlborough East, Chinese Embassy, Golden Stairs and the surrounding areas.
Our teams are working round the clock to ensure service is restored.
The inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.
In a different notice, ZETDC said:
NOTICE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS: NORTHERN REGION
The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to apologize to its valued customers in Northern Region for a power outage due to faults on the network.
Areas affectedBINDURA: Matepatepa, Bindura North, Woodlands Farm and the surrounding areas.
NORTON : Darwendale, Mwanga, Sandringham, Mhondoro, Chibero, Linden, Essex farm and the surrounding areas.
BEATRICE: Featherstone, Mamina, Plumstead Joyce Mine and surrounding areas.
Our teams are working round the clock to ensure service is restored.
