O' And A' Level Classes Reopen On Monday

2021 Ordinary Level and Advanced Level candidates resume their Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) examinations on Monday next week following the fortnight break for Christmas and New Year.

The rest of the classes are scheduled to return to school for the first term on 10 January 2022.

Pupils started writing the ZIMSEC examinations on 22 November and will finish by the end of next month.

Both O’ and A’ Level exam classes took a break on 17 December when the second and final term for 2021 ended for all classes.

Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education spokesperson Taungana Ndoro on Monday confirmed that public examinations will resume on Monday.

He said that the COVID-19 guidelines as set out by health authorities, which include hand-washing, regular temperature checks, wearing of face masks and social distancing, would be in place. Said Ndoro:

Other classes will return on previously announced dates unless new pronouncements are made.
