Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 07 December 2021:
- 4 031 New Cases (All local) and 5 Deaths reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases rises to 1 572 from 1 054 (yesterday)
- Vaccination Update: 14 334 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 896 589 while 18 587 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 910 953 as at 1600 hrs.
- As of 06 December 2021, @1500hrs there were 226 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (52), Asymptomatic 13, mild to moderate 173, severe 39 and 1 in Intensive Care Units.
- 11 535 tests done today (Positivity today was 34.9%)
- 40 new recoveries: National Recovery rate falls to 89% & Active cases go up 11 908.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 145 632 Cases 129 006 recoveries & 4 718 Deaths.
