Manjuzu Cult Spreads As Young Women Crave Lavish Lifestyles
The Manjuzu cult is reportedly spreading across the country like a veld fire, with the movement growing popular among young women desperate for good fortunes in life.
Manjuzu is believed to be a mermaid spirit that endows its worshippers with wealth and a good life.

Another manjuzu who preferred anonymity told H-Metro that she didn’t apply to be one, but was “chosen”. She said:
