Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 08 November 2021:
- 18 New Cases (All Local) and 5 Deaths were reported today. (7 day rolling average* for new cases falls to 28 from 30 (yesterday). (2) of these cases are from outbreaks in schools in Mash West Province.
- Vaccination Update: 7 524 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 379 391 while 5 339 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 654 079 as at 1600 hrs.
- As of 07 November 2021, @1500hrs there were 23 hospitalised cases: New Admissions 1, Asymptomatic 0, mild to moderate 23, severe 0 and 0 in Intensive Care Units.
- 2 242 tests done today (Positivity today was 0.80 %)
- 76 new recoveries: National Recovery rate rise to 96% & Active cases go down to 389.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 133 205 Cases 128 126 recoveries & 4 690 Deaths.
