ZERA Hikes LP Gas Prices For November

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for the month of November.

In a notice on Sunday evening, ZERA said the retail price of gas, calculated according to the Petroleum (Liquid Petroleum Gas Pricing) Regulations 90 of 2021, has been set at US$2.05 per kilogramme or alternatively, ZWL$202.78 per kilogramme. The energy regulator added:

Operators are advised to display the prices at their retail outlets at a prominent place in clearly legible letters.

Please note that it is permissible to sell LPG at prices below the prescribed prices depending on one’s trading advantages.

The new prices are a significant increase from the October prices which were pegged at US$1.87 per kilogramme and ZWL$165.59 per kilogramme respectively.
