Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 02 November 2021:
- 40 New Cases (All Local) and 4 Death were reported today. (7 day rolling average for new cases rises to 45 from 44 (yesterday). (23) of these cases are from outbreaks in schools in Manicaland (2), Mat South (6) and Masvingo (15).
- Vaccination Update: 8 602 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 325 612 while 10 343 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 610 796 as at 1600 hrs.
- As of 01 November 2021, 01500hrs there were 43 hospitalised cases: New Admissions 6, Asymptomatic 11, mild to moderate 27, severe 4 and 1 in Intensive Care Units.
- 6 075 tests done today (Positivity today was 0.66%)
- 25 new recoveries: National Recovery rate rise to 96% & Active cases go up to 585.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 133 047 Cases 127 779 recoveries & 4 683 Deaths.
