Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Update: 01 November 2021

Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 01 November 2021:
- 30 New Cases (All Local) and 1 Death were reported today. (7 day rolling average for new cases falls to 44 from 45 (yesterday). (12) of these cases are from outbreaks in schools in Bulawayo (9) and Masvingo (3).
- Vaccination Update: 6 435 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 317 010 while 5 294 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 600 453 as at 1600 hrs.
- As of 31 October 2021, 01500hrs there were 44 hospitalised cases: New Admissions 2, Asymptomatic 12, mild to moderate 24, severe 3 and 5 in Intensive Care Units.
- 2 564 tests done today (Positivity today was 1.2%)
- 54 new recoveries: National Recovery rate rise to 96% & Active cases down to 574.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 133 007 Cases 127 754 recoveries & 4 679 Deaths.
