WATCH: Chamisa's Aides Attacked By "ZANU PF-Sponsored Drunken Youths"

The aides of MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa, were attacked by “drunken youths” allegedly sent by ZANU PF official Ezra Chadzamira.

The attack took place in the Charumbira area in Masvingo this Monday. The assailants who were waving placards denouncing “sanctions” blocked a road and attacked the aides. Posting on Twitter, MDC Alliance said:

VIDEO footage of the violent, ZANU PF-sponsored attacks on President @nelsonchamisa’s delegation in Charumbira area. Cars were seen ferrying the rented crowd and co-ordinating the attacks as violent thugs held up printed posters.

MDC Alliance commented on the attack

A crowd of drunken youths at the scene are saying they were sent by Ezra Chadzamira (Masvingo Provincial Affairs Minister) whom they say was sent by Mnangagwa. President @nelsonchamisa has been taken to a safe haven. We condemn this violence in the strongest of terms.
