ZETDC Issues Power Interruption Alert For Chitungwiza

ZESA Holdings’ electricity transmission unit, the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), has advised its customers in Chitungwiza that there would be a power supply interruption on Thursday 7 October 2021 as it will be carrying out critical maintenance works.

I a notice issued this Wednesday, ZETDC said electricity will be unavailable between 8.00 AM and 4.30 PM in the listed areas but customers have been advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice. ZETDC said:

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers in Harare Region that there would be a power supply interruption on Thursday 7 October 2021 from 0800 hours to 1630 hours for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance works.

Affected areas are Chitungwiza Unit A, Unit C, Unit D, Unit F, Unit G and the surrounding areas.

Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice.
