Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 21 September 2021:
- New cases: 278
- Local Cases: 278
- Returnees: 0 {High number of cases constituting 40% of cases reported today Mash East (19), Midlands (14), Manicaland (12) and Masvingo (41), Mat North (12), Bulawayo (17) are from outbreaks detected in schools}.
- Deaths: 7
- Vaccinations: 14 367 (first dose); 24 855 (second dose)
- Total Cumulative Vaccinations: 2 976 512 (first dose); 2 106 898 (second dose)
- Tests: 6 151 (Positivity today was 4.5%)
- As of 17 September 2021, 01500hrs there were 103 hospitalised cases: New Admissions 3, Asymptomatic 5, mild to moderate 73, severe 16 and 9 in Intensive Care Units.
- Recoveries: 342; National Recovery Rate: 95%
- Active Cases: 2 448
- Total Cumulative Cases: 128 464
