Pacific 24HR Hospital Now Offers COVID-19 Vaccination
Pacific 24hr Hospital in Mabvuku has embraced the government’s vaccination drive against COVID-19 by offering the service to members of the public.
This comes after the government in July invited the private sector to take part in the inoculation program for the country to achieve herd immunity by December this year.
Participating private health institutions will be required to report daily statistics to provincial medical directors and city health directors, as well as report any adverse events after the jab.
Pacific 24hr Sister in Charge (SIC), Ludia Matani told BusinessMail that the hospital joined other private sector health centres in the vaccination programme last Thursday.
The hospital is offering the vaccine at a small administration tariff of $2 which caters for transport, fuel and logistics. Said Matani:
