ZERA Announces LP Gas Prices For September 2021
The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced the Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices for the month of September 2021.
In a statement, the Authority said based on the Petroleum (Liquid Petroleum Gas Pricing) Regulations 90 of 2021, the new gas price has been set at US$1.92 per kg, and ZWL$164.94 per kg.
ZERA ordered LP gas retailers to display both prices, in USD and RTGS dollars, where they are clearly visible at their outlets.
The Authority, however, said operators may sell LPG at prices below the stipulated prices depending on one’s trading advantages. ZERA said:
Operators are advised to display the prices at their retail outlets at a prominent place in clearly legible letters.
