A Zimbabwean national was violently assaulted by South African police officers near Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria recently.
A video of the incident has been shared by Yusuf Abramjee on the microblogging site Twitter.
The brutal assault elicited contrasting responses, with some commentators saying Abramjee should have provided the context, while others applauded the South African police for upholding the rule of law.

All I see is a man resisting arrest which in turn will cause force to be used. It is seriously unwise to resist arrest.
