Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 04 September 2021:

  • New cases: 94
  • Local Cases: 94
  • Returnees: 0
  • Deaths: 9
  • Vaccinations: 16 675 (first dose); 11 355 (second dose)
  • Total Cumulative Vaccinations: 2 698 632  (first dose); 1 700 993 (second dose)
  • Tests: 2 704 (Positivity today was 3.5%)
  • Recoveries: 450; National Recovery Rate: 91%
  • Active Cases: 5 870
  • As of 3 September 2021, @1500hrs there were 246 hospitalised cases: New Admissions 18, Asymptomatic 46, mild to moderate 125, severe 59 and 16 in Intensive Care Units.
  • Total Cumulative Cases: 125 425
  • Total Recoveries: 115 089
  • Total Deaths: 4 466
