Fabisch "Honoured" To Be Called Up For Warriors

Germany-based midfielder Jonah Fabisch says he is honoured to get a call-up for the Warriors.

Fabisch (20), who is the son of legendary former Warriors coach Reinhard Fabisch, is part of the squad to play South Africa and Ethiopia in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers this month. He said:

It’s good to be here, it’s my first time playing football in Zimbabwe and for the national team, I’m definitely honoured.

Last time l couldn’t come because of COVID-19 regulations in South Africa so my club didn’t want me to go.

They said that they can’t guarantee flights back so then my club said no. But I’m happy to be here.
