Uebert Angel Backtracks On Controversial COVID-19 Vaccine Remarks

President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s envoy and Ambassador-At-Large to the Americas and Europe Uebert Angel has backtracked on his remarks on COVID-19 vaccines.

Angel, a self-styled prophet and founder of the Spirit Embassy: Goodnews Church recently advised members of the public against taking the COVID-19 vaccine, claiming the jab contains the mark of the beast.

The Mark of the Beast is a cryptic mark in the New Testament’s Book of Revelation which indicates allegiance to Satan.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, some conspiracy theorists in Christendom have interpreted masks and vaccines as the mark of the beast.

Angel now claims he does not have an issue with COVID-19 vaccines that use traditional technology. He said he was only opposed to COVID-19 vaccines which use mRNA technology.

In a social media post on Wednesday night, the Office of The Presidential Envoy And Ambassador At Large To Europe and the Americas (OPEAAL) released a statement saying:

OPEAAL would like to clarify Ambassador Angel’s position on COVID-19 vaccines & reiterate that he remains opposed to(new tech) mRNA type vaccines. In Zimbabwe, this is NOT the case & GOVT has approved traditional vaccines (RNA). He urges everyone to adhere to GOVT recommendations.

Zimbabwe has so far authorised five vaccines for vaccinating its population against COVID-19 namely: Sinopharm and Sinovac from China, Sputnik V from Russia, Covaxin from India and Johnson & Johnson from the USA.

Unlike Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna that use messenger RNA (mRNA), the five use the traditional technology.
