RGM Airport Manager Succumbs To COVID-19 Plunging Staff Into Panic Mode

Staff at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International is reportedly in panic mode after airport manager Margaret Samkange succumbed to Covid-19 Wednesday afternoon.

Fears abound that Samkange’s death will result in disruptions as other workers might have come into contact with her in recent days.

It is a normal procedure that people who get into contact with Covid-19 infected persons should go under quarantine.

Samkange died at her home in Glaudina.

Her death comes as Zimbabwe is grappling with a third wave of the coronavirus pandemic that is reportedly being worsened by the highly contagious Delta variant that was first detected in India.
