Seed Co To Send Home All Unvaccinated Workers

Seed Co has sent home all unvaccinated workers as a way to “protect vaccinated staff.” The company barring entry of all unvaccinated employees and others into the Seed Co buses and premises. Pindula News presents Seed Co’s memo to all staff.

SUBJECT: COVID-19 VACCINATION PROGRAM

The Board and Management of Seed Co is commended for showing leadership in being among the first to be vaccinated In addition. the Board approved the purchase of 10.000 doses of COVID-19 Vaccines for staff and key stakeholders. The rollout of the vaccinations has started and there is no excuse for anyone at Seed Co not being vaccinated as we thrive to create a COVID-19 free workplace. While it is recognized that the individual has a right to choose not being vaccinated,  the company will exercise its right to protect vaccinated staff by barring entry of all unvaccinated employees and others into the Seed Co buses and premises.

With effect from 1 August 2021, the Company will send all unvaccinated employees on leave and will request to see COVID-19 vaccination certificates or negative PCR certificates taken within 24 hours at the cost of unvaccinated employees as and when they come to the factory.
