Hwange Man Seeks Help For Son (6) Diagnosed With Cancer Of The Eye
A man from Hwange is appealing for financial assistance for his 6-year-old son to undergo treatment for cancer of the eye.
Tanyala Ncube, originally from Lusulu in Binga, says his son, Nhlalwenhle, was diagnosed with cancer on his left eye in February this year, after developing symptoms the previous month.
He said the boy has been receiving treatment at Mpilo Central Hospital since February and has also been undergoing some tests.
Ncube said they were getting financial assistance from some well-wishers for Nhlalwenhle’s treatment until June this year when the sponsors said they were no longer in a position to continue assisting.
Ncube used to work as a security guard for a local security company but is currently unemployed after being sent on vacation to deal with his son’s health challenges.

He said his son failed to get the required treatment on Monday after they failed to raise the ZWL$18 400 required for the latest cycle of treatment. Ncube also needs ZWL$44 800 to buy medication for the other treatment cycle.
