Ministry Of Health Guide On COVID-19 Vaccination Hours

The Ministry of Health and Child Care has announced that health institutions must vaccinate everyone who will be in queues before 1700 hours.

Some people were being sent away when the time approaches 5 pm in a bid to abide by recently imposed lockdown regulations that imposed a curfew that starts at 1830 hours. Pindula News presents the notice that was directed to all PMDs and CEOs of Central Hospitals.

1. All people in a queue for vaccination before 1700 hours shall be vaccinated on the same day;

2. All those who present themselves for vaccination without National Identification Cards or Passport shall be vaccinated upon producing a letter from the Headman, Local Councillor, or Member of Parliament confirming them as ordinarily resident in the area.

Please be guided accordingly.

Zimbabwe is aiming to inject at least 10 million people to achieve head immunity. Nearly 1 million people have already been vaccinated.
