Zuma Arrest: "Loot Responsibly," Duduzane Zuma
Duduzane Zuma, the son of South Africa’s former president Jacob Zuma has advised protestors to loot responsibly amid reports that they are looting businesses and warehouses in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng provinces.
Protests erupted Thursday following the arrest of Jacob Zuma on Wednesday night. He has been in prison since then serving a 15-month jail term for contempt of court after refusing to appear before the Zondo Commission which is investigating him for corruption he allegedly committed when he was still president.
Protestors are demanding his immediate release saying authorities fumbled legal procedures.
In the seven-second-long video clip, a calm Duduzane Zuma advises:
_To the people who are protesting and looting, please do so carefully and please do so responsibly._
