Malema: I'm Considering Going To Zimbabwe To Get COVID-19 Vaccine

Julius Malema who leads the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), an opposition party in South Africa, has said he is considering “going to Zimbabwe” to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Malema said South Africa’s vaccination programme was way behind that of Zimbabwe attributing the sluggish pace at which South Africa is moving to president Cyril Ramaphosa’s poor business approach to the pandemic.

_In this day and age, Zimbabwe is beating South Africa when it comes to vaccination._

_Let me tell you, people with money are going to Zimbabwe to be vaccinated if you do not know._

Malema said he was also considering getting the COVID-19 vaccine in Zimbabwe as there are no prospects of being vaccinated anytime soon in South Africa. Watch the video below for more.

Zimbabwe rolled out the vaccination programme amid world scepticism over the efficacy of vaccines and is pushing towards achieving herd immunity.

Nearly 700 000 people have received their first doses of the vaccine and the government is planning to order more doses.
