OK Zimbabwe Donates Grocery Vouchers To Mpilo Fire Victims

OK Zimbabwe Limited has donated grocery vouchers worth $50 000 each to Mpilo Central Hospital medical staff whose hostels were destroyed by fire nearly two weeks ago.

Mpilo Central Hospital Chief Executive Officer, Professor Solwayo Ngwenya said 39 health workers and their families were left homeless after a massive fire destroyed their living quarters.

Ngwenya also revealed that the estimated cost of damage to property as a result of the inferno is estimated at US$ 500 000.00.

In a statement on Sunday, OK Zimbabwe revealed that it had donated to the affected while calling on Zimbabweans to join it to assist the medical staff. The statement read:

OK Zimbabwe Limited has given all affected Mpilo Hospital staff grocery vouchers worth 50 000 each. We commit to double all the donations made by our customers through our stores.
