ZESA Cuts Off Power To Several Areas In Harare Region

Some parts of Harare will today experience a power supply interruption between 6 AM and 6 PM as the power utility will be carrying out maintenance works.

A statement by the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), the power distribution arm of ZESA, reads:

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers in Harare Region that there will be a power supply interruption on Wednesday 26 May 2021 from 06.00-1800 hours for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance works.

During this period, electricity will not be available in the following areas: Mandara, Chikurubi Maximum Prison, ZRP Support Unit, Donnybrook Park houses, NetOne main exchange, Dover rad, Court road, Chamberlain road, Cambridge road, parts of Harare Drive, The Grange, Beeston Road, Hayhill, Gletwyn and parts of Chishawasha.

Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be
restored without notice.
