ZIMBABWE EVENING WEATHER REPORT AND FORECAST ISSUED AT 1600 HRS ON MONDAY 17 MAY 2021 VALID UNTIL WEDNESDAY 19 MAY 2021.

Clear skies and dry conditions were predominant across the country resulting in cold morning conditions. Meanwhile, a slight pressure rise off the southeast coast of southern Africa should begin driving cool and relatively moist south-easterlies into the country.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW TUESDAY 18 MAY 2021:

Briefly cloudy conditions are expected over Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, Masvingo, southern areas of Manicaland and southern districts of the Midlands provinces, becoming less cloudy and mild in the afternoon. Elsewhere (Matabeleland North, northern districts of the Midlands, northern areas of Manicaland, Harare Metropolitan and all Mashonaland provinces), should be mostly sunny and mild though cold in the morning.

• Slight ground frost may affect horticultural crops such as tomatoes.

• Temperature fluctuations between night and day may affect the health of all persons. however, persons of an ill disposition, the elderly, young children tend to be more vulnerable.
