Manchester City Are The 2020-21 Premier League Champions

Manchester City have been crowned the 2020-21 Premier League champions after second-placed Manchester United suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Leicester City at home Tuesday.

Celebrating the victory, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola said this was the hardest won Premier League title. Nevertheless, City have shown remarkable consistency in turbulent times, overcoming a gruelling fixture schedule by heavily rotating the squad to ensure every player has played a part in this success.

With the Carabao Cup success already assured, City have now won 10 of the last 15 available English trophies.

They are still expecting to win the Uefa Champions League for the first time in their history. They are in the finals with Chelsea.

The Premier League title is the 10th major honour Guardiola has won since taking charge at City in 2016, and it comes a week after his men booked a place in the UEFA Champions League final.
