Women’s University in Africa has announced the appointment of Professor Sunungurai Dominica Chingarande as its second and new Vice Chancellor.
Professor Sunungurai Chingarande took over from Professor Hope Cynthia Sadza who was Women’s University in Africa’s founding Vice-Chancellor. In an update on its Facebook page, Women’s University in Africa said Prof. Chingarande is a renowned academic and gender expert. The announcement read:
Professor Sunungurai Dominica Chingarande has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Women’s University in Africa, effective 1 April 2021, succeeding Professor Hope Cynthia Sadza, the University’s Founding Vice Chancellor. Prof Chingarande is a renowned academic and gender expert. Welcome Prof.
