A picture that has been circulating on social media that is stamped and dated 25 March 2021, showing that the Zimbabwe National Army is actively recruiting soldiers countrywide.
The picture further asks the applicants to drop their application in letterboxes at different stations listed in the letter:
The Children of the War Veterans Association(COZWA) has also stated that the army is also recruiting specialists teachers and nurses:
The Zimbabwe National Army has launched a massive recruitment drive for the youths from the age of 18 to 30 across the country. They are taking 5 O levels without Maths for the general Army & 18 to 30 years old for specialist like teachers, nurses etc
The government has not yet commented on the photo that is circulating. We will update this article if new details emerge.
