Uefa Champions League Results: Madrid, Bayern, City, Chelsea
We present below the results of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 Leg 2 of 2 matches that were played on Tuesday and Wednesday. 
  • Real Madrid 3-1 Atalanta: Aggregate: 4 – 1

Scorer for Atalanta: Luis Fernando Muriel Fruto 83′.
Real Madrid have progressed to their 36th quarter-final in the European Cup/UEFA Champions League – at least six more times than any other side (Bayern Munich – 30).
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has now won 30 matches in the UEFA Champions League in 49 matches in charge – only Josef Heynckes (42) and Pep Guardiola (48) won their 30th game in a fewer number of matches than the Frenchman.

Manchester City have won 24 of their last 25 matches in all competitions (L1). Since a 1-1 draw with West Brom on December 15th, City’s 24 wins are at least seven more than any other side has managed in all competitions in the top-five European leagues.
Manchester City have now scored 100+ goals in each of their last eight seasons in all competitions, with only Manchester United (nine in a row between 2004-05 and 2012-13) having a longer run of consecutive seasons scoring 100+ goals among top-flight English teams in history.

Bayern Munich have qualified for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League for the 19th time – the most of any team in the competition’s history. 
They are now unbeaten in their last 19 games in the UEFA Champions League, equalling their longest run of consecutive games without defeat in European Cup/UEFA Champions League history (previously a run of 19 between 2001 and 2002).
  • Chelsea 2-0 Atlético Madrid: Aggregate: 3 – 0
Chelsea Scorers: Hakim Ziyech 34′; Emerson Palmieri 90+4′
Chelsea have progressed to the competition’s quarter-finals for the first time since 2013-14 under José Mourinho. They are yet to lose in 13 matches under Thomas Tuchel in all competitions (W9 D4), making this now the longest unbeaten start to a tenure by any manager in the club’s history, overtaking Luiz Felipe Scolari’s 12 games in 2008.
