Beware Of Sexist Chamisa & Bigoted Biti -Nkosana Moyo

The leader of the opposition Alliance for the People’s Agenda (APA), Dr Nkosana Moyo has urged the citizenry to be wary of bigoted and sexist MDC Alliance leaders, in that order, Tendai Biti and Nelson Chamisa.

The caution comes shortly after Tendai Biti had branded Chipinge people as witches. He was responding to a statement by law professor Lovemore Madhuku who was justifying President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s decision not to announce that VP Kembo Mohadi had resigned.

Chamisa was described as sexist based on his remarks at a rally in 2018 in the run-up towards the harmonised elections during which he pledged to give his sister to President Mnangagwa is he was to win the election.

Mnangagwa eventually won the election but the Chamisa is adamant that the election was rigged.

Beware of leaders who, on the spur of the moment, call you witches or offer their sisters as rewards for a bet. Bigoted and sexist. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

First time you are abused you are a victim. Second time, you’re volunteer. #FixTheFoundation.

APA Tweet Chamisa sexist Biti bigot

His remarks also come shortly after Chamisa had in his Zimbabwe 2021 Agenda labelled other opposition parties in the country as “little boys and girls” adding that they were ZANU PF satellites meant to destabilise MDC Alliance “the real opposition”.

Dr Moyo contested and lost the 2018 presidential election with his party managing a paltry 15 000 votes where 4.5 million people voted.

He is Zimbabwe’s former Finance Minister, a post he resigned from mentioning poor policies by the government then led by the late veteran leader, Robert Mugabe.
